About Pack 3

Pack 3 was founded in 2016 by Lower Manhattan residents Zachary Smith, Mori Ninomiya, Brian Moore, Jonathan O’Donnell and Matt Nycz. As parents to young boys, we were eager to provide a community-driven, boy led experience that focused on service, responsibility and leadership. Additionally, we were anxious for activities that encouraged a love for nature and respect for our natural world — even though our children are growing up in the concrete jungle of NYC!

In partnership with downtown’s very own Trinity Church as the community sponsor and the Boy Scouts of America, Pack 3 started with a single Wolf Den and Tiger Den in late Fall of 2016. We now have Tiger, Wolf, Bear and Webelos in our Pack.

Our Pack season follows the public school calendar closely. Meetings and activities start in September and run through June. You can view our calendar online here.
